Abstract
The presence of ethnic Bugis in the Nunukan district is estimated to have started in the 17th century. At that time, the Bugis people survived in the Nunukan area by working as farmers and fishermen. Since then, the descendants of the Bugis tribe have controlled various fields in Nunukan, including
