Abstract
A planar monopole UWB antenna for microwave medical imaging systems is presented, and its operating frequency range from 3.09 GHz to 10.65 GHz. The overall size of the design is 30×20×1.6 mm3. Two phantom models were developed to represent the arm and breast models to evaluate the design performance
