Abstract
Sukmawati Soekarnoputri is the daughter of Ir. Sukarno and also a humanist. She reaped the controversy after reading a poem entitled Ibu Indonesia and delivering her speech which alluded to the Prophet Muhammad and Ir. Sukarno. This study aims to find out the true meaning of Sukmawati's controversy.
