Abstract
This paper is based on research on the tradition of nyumbang in one of the villages in Yogyakarta. This tradition is carried out when the villagers hold traditional ceremonies such as circumcision, wedding ceremony, etc. The results of the study found that most of the villagers have felt burdened by
