Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the history of Indonesian politics, the Indonesian Islamic party, Masyumi, has made efforts to propose Islam as the basis of the state at the beginning of an independent Indonesia. Methodology that used is history persfective based on history data.Result:
