Abstract
Sadran Gedhe tradition is a form of joint prayer rituals intended to remember ancestors who have died and to avoid danger. However, slowly the traditions that place togetherness, tolerance, respect for the older are now attacked by individualistic attitudes brought by the current of globalization.
